Syracuse Soccer Academy is proud to announce its affiliation with the Northstars Soccer Clubs Youth Academy
The two clubs will be partnering in the U8 and under program. With combining our pool of U8 and under players, we will be able to expand our offerings, by leveraging off of each’s clubs strengths, resources, and training staff. We will potentially be able to offer teams at the premier, club, and developmental division per individual age group. All children will learn the basic fundamentals of soccer in a fun yet structured environment. The academy program philosophy is to emphasize player development and focus on technical skill development of each child. Sessions incorporate dribbling, passing, trapping, shooting, ball skills, agility footwork, attacking & defending concepts into fun games. The focus of the program is to make players more comfortable with the ball at their feet and introduce the game in a relaxed environment. Our goal is to make sure all the players become technically sound on the ball, so that they can spend their time managing the challenges in the game, not the challenges of the ball, thus making soccer more enjoyable to play. The SSA & Northstars staff are proud to partner in bringing our community a professionally run program!
The Center will be closed on the following dates for the Holidays:

Congratulations to Mia and Alana Montreal for accepting scholarship offers to play soccer at Roberts Wesleyan College, in Rochester, NY! Mia and Alana were recently invited to attend the Redhawk’s ID Camp and the Coaches were interested in recruiting both of them for the Fall of 2016, after only the first day of camp! Roberts Wesleyan Coach comments: “I want you to know how impressed I was with both of the girls. They stood out to all of our coaching staff for their play and more importantly to me, their attitude and character.”
Thank you SSA Coaches... for providing Mia and Alana with the tools, skills and knowledge that awarded them this wonderful opportunity! We wish Mia and Alana much success in all that they do! We trust they will proudly represent SSA on the Redhawk’s field! Go get’m Mia and Alana!!

Congratulations to the U17 SSA Sharks for winning the 2014 Brockport Tournament. They played extremely well and beat NYS West in the final 4-1. They showed great poise by letting in a goal in the first 20 seconds of the final, but then came back and put them away. Great job, boys!
